Seattle Children’s is seeking a motivated and versatile Advanced Practice Provider (APP), either a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or a Physician Assistant (PA), to join our growing Otolaryngology (ENT) – Head and Neck Surgery team. This role is designed for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced ambulatory environment and is passionate about providing world-class pediatric care.
The Role
As an APP in our ENT department, you will play a dual role in our clinical ecosystem:
- Independent Practice: Manage a diverse panel of patients presenting with a broad range of ENT pathologies affecting the head and neck.
- Collaborative Care: Work alongside world-renowned attending surgeons to coordinate care for children with complex medical conditions and specialized surgical needs.

- Master Technical Skills: Maintain proficiency in interpreting diagnostic imaging and performing specialized procedures, including binocular microscopy, foreign body removal, and cauterization.

- Educate & Research: Participate in meaningful research efforts and provide essential education to patients, families, and the broader healthcare team.
Location & Deployment
This is a fully clinic-based position. While your primary deployment will be at our South Clinic in Federal Way, flexibility is key; occasional coverage may be required at our Seattle and Bellevue clinics to ensure seamless patient care across the region.
FTE
- We are open to a range of 0.75 to 1.0 FTE, based on candidate interest and program needs

Required Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in nursing with a concentration in a pediatric or family nurse practitioner program OR graduate of a nationally accredited physician assistant program.
- One year work experience in a pediatric or family focused clinical area.
Required Credentials:
For Nurse Practitioners:
- Active, unencumbered registered nurse and advanced registered nurse practitioner licensure in the State of Washington.
- Current national certification as a pediatric or family nurse practitioner
For Physician Assistants:
- Active, unencumbered physician assistant licensure in the State of Washington
- Initial certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
For All Providers:
Active Drug Enforcement Authority registration
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Professionals is required at time of hire and to be maintained continuously throughout employment. American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) will also be accepted in lieu of BLS for Healthcare Professionals.
Some clinical locations may require American Heart Association Pediatric Life Support training and continuous maintenance of certification.
Active clinical privileges as an Allied Health Provider at Seattle Children's Hospital must be secured prior to time of hire and must be maintained in good standing and in compliance with all medical staff bylaws, continuously throughout employment.
Preferred:
- Two years experience in advanced practice provider role
- Two years experience in pediatric health care
Compensation Range
$137,321 - $201,961 per year
* This position is eligible for relocation for qualified candidates.*
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
