• Previous permanent employees of any Providence-affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for at least 3 months before being eligible for a travel assignment.
• All Swedish facilities honor an active Compact RN License.
• First-time travelers are NOT accepted.
• Traveler must be willing to float to different campuses.
• Every other weekend required.

• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required

• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• PALS

• 29 total ED beds
• 11 hallway beds
• Adult & Pediatric patients
• Ambulance arrivals
• Triage
• Lobby triage
• ED holding patients

• Breathing treatments
• Chest tube setup and care
• CPAP/BiPAP
• Procedural sedation
• Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI)
• Tracheostomy care
• Ventilator patients
• Blood & blood product administration
• Cardioversion/Defibrillation
• Cooling/Warming blankets
• CRRT/Dialysis patients
• 12‑lead EKG acquisition
• Rapid infuser

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Schedule is posted every 6 weeks
• Other possible facility start times include:
  • 7:00 AM
  • 9:00 AM
  • 12:00 PM
  • 3:00 PM
  • 7:00 PM

• Up to 5 days of non-holiday requested time off (DTO) may be submitted.
• Manager approval is required.
• Approved DTO will be added to the end of the contract.
