Senior Living Caregiver
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to support residents in the Merrill Gardens at The University community. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, managing medications, and completing daily progress reports, while ensuring a supportive, dignified environment for seniors.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry, and general care.
- Manage medication as allowed by state regulations and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
- Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.
- Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or ability to obtain.
- CNA license or two years of previous caregiver experience.
- Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday. Actual pay rate within stated pay range is determined based on relevant factors in compliance with state and local wage laws. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire.
