** has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced oncology nurse to work on
** 8NE's ACE Outpatient clinic.
**** WORK SCHEDULE
*** 100% FTE
* Monday - Friday, 8 hour variable shifts
** DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
** 8NE/Blood Marrow Transplant/Oncology, known as the Fred Hutch Cancer Center hospital within a hospital, is 20-bed unit for patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplant (bone marrow, peripheral or cord blood transplant) and immunotherapy. The unit also has a 6 bed clinic to handle outpatient symptom management and outpatient infusion.
** PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Will fill the break RN role as needed in the clinic
* Work closely with our APP and leadership team from 8NE and Fred Hutch to create a cohesive program across both campuses
* Performs specific leadership functions related to clinical practice, education and/or management as delegated by and in collaboration with the Nurse Manager
* Assumes staff assignments and preceptor responsibility
* Provides leadership and support for clinic that promote delivery of quality nursing care, effective problem solving and communication, and continued professional development for self and others
** REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
*** Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN); applicable experience may substitute for education.
* Charge nurse experience, preceptor experience and/or leadership experience
* Passionate about program development and education
* Strong leadership and clinical skills with the ability to manage complex care coordination
* Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington
* Current or recent Oncology nursing experience in an outpatient setting
* ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate

** Compensation, Benefits and Position Details
**** Pay Range Minimum:**$50.72 hourly
** Pay Range Maximum:**$93.06 hourly
** Other Compensation:
** BSN (or higher degree) Premium - $1.00/hour ;
