Kin On Health Care Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a continuum of culturally sensitive healthcare services to Asian seniors in the greater Seattle metropolitan area. Kin On offers a culturally sensitive continuum of care for Asian elders, including a skilled nursing facility, assisted living apartments, adult family home, home care, caregiver support, and community-based health and wellness programs.

Job Title: Nursing Assistant-Certified (CNA)
Reports To: RCM

Hours/

Schedule:

Full-time or Part-time, Non-exempt

• Provide direct care to residents that meet their physical and emotional care needs
• Act as a conduit between doctors and nurses by reporting observations back to supervisor
• Answer resident calls
• Provide resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting, turning, give range of motion exercises, assist in walking rounds and other physical activities
• Provide direct and adjunct services such as catheterization, feedings or serving meals to residents, suction, applying and changing dressings/bandages, packs, taking vital signs
• Participate in meetings as needed and other duties as assigned

• Education:
  
  Graduated with an accredited program in nursing education
• On the date of hire, hold and have ability to continuously renew while employed the CNA license through the Washington State Board of Nursing
• A gentle compassionate, empathic personality with clear communication skills desired as population serviced are the elderly. Person in this position must be able to communicate effectively with residents and their families, and report back to supervisor over matter of concern
• Basic computer skills required for online learning system and documentation

• Pay: $24.00/hour - $30.00/hour
• Sign-on bonus: $1,000
