Harborview Medical Center's (HMC) Stroke Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a per-diem, temporary Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Certified.
Work schedule:
Per-diem, up to 40 hours per week
M-F Days
Temporary, expected to last through 5/31/2027
The Stroke Clinic is located in the Ninth and Jefferson Building at Harborview Medical Center. It provides comprehensive assessment and management of neurological conditions, including acute and chronic ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, and other vascular neurological conditions.

Primary job responsibilities:
- Provide clinical expertise to patients and their families
- Serves as a resource person for health care providers
- Work independently under the general guidance of the attending physicians, fellows, and department leadership
Requirements:
Nurse Practitioner:
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing
- Washington state advanced registered nurse practitioner license with prescriptive privileges
- National certification as a nurse practitioner
- BLS certification
OR
Physician Assistant:
- Licensure as a physician's assistant in the state of Washington with national certification from a national certifying body (NCCPA)
- Applicant must be eligible to receive hospital staff appointments for adjunct staff membership by the organized medical staff of the hospital under medical staff by-laws for hospital-based positions
- BLS certification
