Registered Nurse – Endoscopy | Burien, WA | 13 Weeks Contract

- Experience Required: 2 Years
- Weekly Pay: $2560 to $2760
- Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
- Perform patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and prepare patients for procedures
- Administer IV medications, moderate sedation, and other treatments as prescribed
- Continuously monitor patient vital signs, cardiac rhythm, oxygen saturation, and overall condition throughout procedures
- Assist physicians during upper GI, lower GI, bronchoscopy, and other diagnostic or therapeutic endoscopic procedures
- Recognize and respond promptly to patient complications or changes in condition
- Educate patients and families regarding procedure preparation, recovery expectations, medications, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and transport of endoscopy equipment according to infection prevention standards
- Collaborate with gastroenterologists, surgeons, anesthesia providers, technicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care standards
- Active Washington Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact RN License (if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy nursing experience
- Current BLS Certification required
- Current ACLS Certification required
- Experience with procedural sedation and recovery preferred
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient monitoring skills
- Knowledge of endoscopic procedures, sterile technique, and infection prevention practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care
