Registered Nurse - Pediatrics

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialization in Pediatrics for a travel contract opportunity.

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients within an acute care setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.
• Float to NICU or other units within their skill set as needed.

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• BLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• Experience with EPIC electronic documentation system.

• Previous Charge Nurse experience strongly preferred.
• First-time travelers accepted provided they have the required experience.

• 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience caring for patients with Respiratory, GI, Neurology, pre/post, and endocrine diagnoses.

• Proficient in pediatric nursing care.
• Competent in administering medications and treatments.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
