Clinical Nurse Specialist, Healthcare Nursing, Director of Nursing, RN Nurse
Collaborate with the Director, Clinical Directors, Physicians and clinical staff to develop, manage, assess and enhance the provision of patient care services within the Dialysis program and the Apheresis program on a 24/7 basis to meet continuous quality improvement, customer service, programmatic growth, and financial requirements supporting the mission of Seattle Children’s Hospital. Develop, implement, and monitor staffing plans, scheduling and staff development to meet current and anticipated needs and to maintain compliance with patient safety and regulatory requirements.
Required Education And Experience- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum of two (2) years RN experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Current Washington State or Multistate (MSL) RN license.
- Copy of bachelor’s degree or transcript indicating attainment to be on record with Human Resources upon hire.
- Nursing or healthcare related professional board certification in a clinical specialty area or leadership on hire or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire and must be maintained thereafter; certification must be recognized by the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) and approved by Seattle Children’s.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers. PALS or PEARS accepted in lieu; PALS will not be accepted to the requirements listed above.
- Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN).
- Pediatric Apheresis Manager experience.

Salary InformationThis compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
