Patient Sitter

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager or designee, performs a variety of tasks to assist ensuring that assigned patient(s) is safe and unable to harm themselves. Performs non-direct patient care duties as assigned.

• Perform a variety of tasks to assist ensuring patient safety and preventing self-harm, and complete non-direct patient care duties as assigned.

• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Preferred:
  Coursework/Training:
  College classes with a pursuit of a health care degree.

The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
