Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to provide high-quality care to childbearing women and newborns, attending to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn needs in a high-risk Level 3 Perinatal center with a high volume of complex cases.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night 3x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), including weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one care for patients during labor and delivery.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and manage postpartum care.
• Perform assessments and monitoring for fetal heart rates and maternal well-being.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, social services, and pharmacy.
• Participate in the care of patients experiencing complex obstetric conditions.
• Utilize Epic for charting and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must hold an active RN license.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Certifications required: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, EFM Certification preferred.
• Experience with high-risk obstetrics and circulating in C-sections is essential.
