Job Description
UW MEDICINE-NORTHWEST OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER has an outstanding opportunity for a per diem PSA/PCU day shift REGISTERED NURSE.
Work Schedule- variable hours per week
- Day Shifts
The Registered Nurse is a licensed practitioner who uses the nursing process to provide patient care. This includes exercising independent nursing judgment in managing the care of patients with complex health problems and collaborating with patient, family, and other healthcare providers and disciplines to optimize the patient’s return to health and promote independence in self‑care. Supervises and coordinates the work of ancillary healthcare personnel.
Responsibilities- Develops a written plan of care
- Provides safe, therapeutic, cost-effective patient care
- Provides direct patient care to an assigned group of patients
- Collects, records, and analyzes assessment data such as patient health data
- One year of ICU experience or prior PACU, Phase I and Phase 2
- ACLS and PALS required
Pay Range Minimum: $45.59 hourly
Pay Range Maximum: $83.64 hourly
Other Compensation:
- $5.00/hour night shift
- $4.00/hour weekend shift
- $3.00/hour evening shift
- $1.00/hour BSN Premium
- $1.25/hour Nursing Certification
