Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift - 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This position requires a commitment to deliver high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including adults and pediatrics.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform triage, assessments, and interventions on both adult and pediatric patients.
- Administer medications and treatments including blood product administration, procedural sedation, and ventilator management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage critical situations, implement care plans, and follow protocols for patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting.
- Active compact RN license must be in hand at submission.
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
- Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
