Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30) with weekend requirements.

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) will provide comprehensive care to childbearing women and newborns across Antepartum, Intrapartum, Postpartum, and Newborn phases at a Level 3 Perinatal center. The RN will deliver care in a high-risk environment, ensuring optimal outcomes for both mothers and infants.

• Manage high-risk labor and delivery cases, supporting complex health needs.
• Assist in C-sections and other surgical procedures as part of a collaborative care team.
• Circumvent complications through meticulous monitoring and intervention.
• Provide education and support to mothers regarding breastfeeding and postpartum care.
• Implement and monitor care plans for both mother and baby, attending to physical and emotional needs.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Certifications required: BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate.
• Epic charting system experience is mandatory.
• Must have the ability to handle high acuity cases with minimal supervision.
• Candidates must be comfortable managing C-sections and providing care in a Level 3 Perinatal environment.
