This is a 17-week contract position.
Schedule:
Variable shifts: 3x12 hours, alternating between 07:00 - 19:30 and 19:00 - 07:30. Weekend coverage required.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the 4SE Observation and Short Stay unit. This fast-paced environment specializes in post-operative care, particularly for cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong cardiac telemetry skills and experience in admitting and discharging patients.
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with a focus on cardiac health.
- Admit and discharge patients effectively while ensuring compliance with care standards.
- Monitor patient conditions and manage telemetry for cardiac patients, interpreting dysrhythmias as necessary.
- Administer medications and manage various medical devices and protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care delivery.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a telemetry or acute care setting.
- Current licensure as an RN in the state of Washington.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
