Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift: 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
The Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery will provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns in high-risk, fast-paced environments. Responsibilities include circulating during deliveries, providing newborn care, and ensuring adherence to AWHONN guidelines.
Provide care for postpartum and antepartum patients.
Circulate during deliveries and assist with newborn care, including Vitamin K injections and assessments.
Monitor high-risk pregnancies and recognize abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Float to sister facilities as required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, with a preference for candidates with 5 years or more of high-risk experience.
Current RN license (compact license required).
Certifications:
BLS, NRP required; ACLS and AWHONN Advanced preferred.
Must pass a clinical review.
Proof of relevant certifications and supervisory references required at the time of application.
