Nurse Manager – Labor & Delivery
Seattle, Washington | Onsite | Full-Time | Day Shift
Are you an experienced Labor & Delivery nurse leader ready to take the next step in your leadership career? We’re seeking a Nurse Manager – Labor & Delivery to lead clinical operations, develop high-performing teams, and advance quality and patient safety within a high-volume maternal care environment.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out- Lead a high-volume Labor & Delivery program with approximately 550-600 births each month, supported by 30 L&D beds, a 9-bed OB ED, and 4 OB operating rooms
- Work within an advanced maternal-care environment featuring a 77-bed Level IV NICU and 24/7 anesthesia, laborist, and neonatology coverage
- Be part of innovative programs including TEAMBirth, doula support, cultural navigation, and addiction recovery services for pregnant and laboring patient
- Day-shift leadership opportunity with comprehensive career and professional growth potential
- Direct the clinical and operational activities of Labor & Delivery, including staffing, scheduling, patient flow, and daily unit performance
- Drive patient safety, quality improvement, patient satisfaction, and evidence-based maternal care initiatives
- Lead, coach, mentor, and retain nursing teams while supporting recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional development
- Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, collaboration, and culturally responsive care while maintaining regulatory and professional standards
- BSN required, or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within 2 years
- Active Washington RN License
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Minimum 2 years of Charge RN, Supervisory, or Management experience in Labor & Delivery
