Description:
Travelers can have one of three major holidays off. Must work two holidays (eve/day). Tele health experience is required. There will be a skills assessment test. The RN will care for neurosurgery, neurology, and epilepsy patients. Patient diagnoses may include traumatic brain injury, craniotomy, craniectomy, aneurysm clipping and coiling, spinal cord injury, strokes, seizure, epilepsy, and changes in mental status. The patient ratio is typically 1:4-5.
Weekend work is required every other weekend with flexibility in scheduling. Candidates may float within the facility as required. Required skills include telemetry and management of dysrhythmias. This position is open to first-time travelers with strong neuro experience. Preferred experience includes acute care in neuro and telemetry settings. References from previous supervisors are required for all candidates. Modules may be needed before starting and are non-billable.
