Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Seattle, Washington, 98122!

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Seattle, WA

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

• Provide direct nursing care in a high-risk, high-volume Labor and Delivery unit serving a diverse patient population including midwifery clients, private OB patients, and community care patients
• Function as Baby Nurse during delivery and provide continued newborn care including eye prophylaxis, Vitamin K injections, and newborn assessments until transfer to postpartum
• Circulate in the operating room as required for surgical deliveries across 4 ORs
• Administer and monitor high-acuity medications including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
• Perform electronic fetal monitoring and document care using EPIC
• Float to Postpartum and Antepartum units as needed, following AWHONN staffing guidelines

• Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience in a high-acuity, high-volume environment; high-risk experience required
• Demonstrated ability to circulate in the OR
• Competency in newborn care including eye prophylaxis, Vitamin K injections, and newborn assessments
• Active RN license; compact license accepted
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required at time of submission
• Must pass clinical review; clean licensure verification required

• 5 or more years of high-risk Labor and Delivery experience strongly preferred
• ACLS certification
• AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records and electronic fetal monitoring

• Work in a busy, well-established Labor and Delivery unit with a high delivery volume and a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team
• Staffing practices follow AWHONN guidelines, supporting a structured and clinically sound work environment
