Job TitleRegistered Nurse – NICU
LocationSeattle, WA | NICU (Level III / Level IV)
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Level III or Level IV NICU, caring for neonates as early as 23–24 weeks gestation
- Operate and monitor advanced respiratory support equipment including CPAP/BiPAP, High Frequency Ventilators, Oscillators, and conventional Vents
- Administer blood and blood products; manage PICC lines, central lines, and syringe pumps
- Attend high-risk deliveries and support neonatal surgical cases
- Perform procedures including cooling/warming blanket therapy, feeding tube placement, and cardioversion/defibrillation as indicated
- Float to sister campuses or adjacent units (SCN, Pediatrics/Newborn Nursery) as needed; when floating to Pediatrics, care is limited to infants only
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience
- Experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU setting
- Willingness to float to different campuses as needed; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays:
Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day - Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Experience attending high-risk deliveries and assisting with neonatal surgeries
- Proficiency with PICC/central line management and advanced syringe pump therapy
- Familiarity with cooling/warming protocols for neonatal patients
- Work in a large, high-acuity NICU with a collaborative team environment and a block scheduling option available
- Gain experience across a well-established regional health system with opportunities to work at multiple campuses
