  • Schedule: Full-time, inpatient with clinical hours and on-call (including weekends)
  • Shift: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm (10 hours/day)
  • Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours (plus overtime possible)
  • Employment Type: Locums/Contract
  • Licenses/Certifications: Active WA or IMLC license, DEA, Boards Certified
  • Experience: Experienced Neurosurgery NP or PA, first assist preferred but not required

  • Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (rate to be filled out on bid)

What You’ll Do
  • Provide inpatient neurosurgical care and clinical support
  • Round with the team and attend to patient needs
  • Manage post-op care and assist with neurosurgical procedures
  • Respond to on-call situations, including weekend beeper call (Saturday and Sunday, 12-hour shifts)
  • Collaborate with neurosurgery team to ensure quality patient outcomes
  • Document patient interactions and progress efficiently within hospital systems
  • Support the first assist role (experience preferred but not mandatory)
What You Need
Required:
  • Active WA or IMLC license
  • DEA certification
  • Board-certified in relevant specialty
  • Experience in neurosurgery, preferably in inpatient settings
Preferred:
  • First assist experience
  • Additional certifications or specialized skills in neurosurgical procedures
