Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-risk and high-volume environments. Candidates must be able to function in the role of Baby Nurse during delivery. They will continue care of the newborn until transfer to postpartum. Experience in electronic fetal monitoring and using EPIC is required. Staffing will follow relevant guidelines and procedures.

Candidates will be expected to assist with postpartum and antepartum care as needed. Floating between sister facilities may be required. Must be willing to work every other weekend and holidays as needed. Pre-approved time off will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. High risk experience is essential for this role. Average daily census is approximately 15 patients. The unit includes 31 beds and 4 operating rooms.

Candidates must be proficient in various skill sets relevant to the role. The unit handles a variety of patient diagnoses, including midwifery clients and community care clinics.
