DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

The Pediatric Clinic at Harborview offers a wide range of services including primary care, well-child visits and developmental screenings, breastfeeding support, confidential teen services, and mental health services.

Same-day appointments are available for sick kids, and an after-hours nurse phone line is available when you need immediate care assistance.

Many of our services are available via telehealth (video visits) to save you time and reduce the need to bring your child into the clinic.

Our pediatric team provides trauma informed care and ensures timely access to care for children in foster and kinship care, in coordination with Apple Health Core Connections and Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF).

Specialty services are also available through the Pediatric Clinic, including dental screenings, head injury follow-up care, and access to the Foster Care Consultation Clinic.

In addition, we are pleased to provide books for children at every well check-up until the age of 5 and help keep your child safe by providing bicycle helmets and other safety supplies.

We offer interpreter services for non-English speaking families as well as assistance dealing with health insurance paperwork and problems.

The Pediatric Clinic at Harborview can also make referrals to Harborview’s Community House Calls program to coordinate care for immigrant and refugee families.

With generous help from King County’s Healthcare for the Homeless Network, our pediatrics group provides walk-in primary care services for youth experiencing homelessness at two shelters in King County.

These free services include:
