About This Role

The RN Float Pool for Specialty Care Clinics at Kaiser Permanente's Capitol Hill campus provides nursing care to a defined group of patients while coordinating and facilitating health care services. This role is ideal for experienced nurses with a strong background in clinic and specialty care.

• Provide ongoing assessment of nursing care needs for a defined group of patients.
• Develop a written plan of care for patient care needs.
• Assist patients and families in developing health care goals.
• Determine priorities of patient care based on essential needs and resources.
• Provide nursing interventions safely and competently.
• Offer telephone consultation to patients and families.
• Evaluate patients' responses to care and modify plans as needed.
• Assess the needs of designated patients requiring hospitalization.
• Communicate patients' psychosocial, cultural, and emotional needs.
• Develop educational components for nursing care plans.

Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

Experience:

• Strongly prefer clinic experience, especially in specialty areas

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current RN License in Washington
