Staff Nurse

About This Role

The Staff Nurse provides nursing care to a defined group of patients, adhering to established standards and policies. This role is ideal for individuals who are collaborative and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

• Pay: $44 - $81/hour
• Location: Seattle, WA

• Provide ongoing assessment of nursing care needs for a defined group of patients.
• Develop a written plan of care for patient needs and assist patients in developing health care goals.
• Provide nursing interventions safely and competently, including telephone consultations.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for specific age populations served.
• Initiate nursing admission database and discharge planning in collaboration with inpatient staff.
• Communicate patients' psychosocial, cultural, and emotional needs in nurse-patient interactions.
• Develop an educational component for each nursing care plan and provide teaching/counseling.
• Integrate health promotion and preventive aspects of care with ongoing assessments.
• Adhere to documentation, safety, and infection control standards.
• Participate in continued education programs and nursing research.
