Job TitleRegistered Nurse – NICU

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Level III or IV NICU setting, supporting neonates as early as 23–24 weeks gestation
- Operate and monitor advanced respiratory support equipment including CPAP/BiPAP, High Frequency Ventilators, Oscillators, and conventional Vents
- Administer blood and blood products, manage PICC/Central Lines, syringe pumps, feeding tubes, and cooling/warming blankets
- Attend high-risk deliveries and support neonatal surgical cases as needed
- Perform cardioversion and defibrillation as required per patient care needs
- Float to alternate campuses or units (e.g., Special Care Nursery or Pediatrics for newborn care only) on an infrequent basis as unit needs dictate
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license accepted
- Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience
- Experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU
- Proficiency with advanced neonatal respiratory support modalities (CPAP/BiPAP, High Frequency Vents, Oscillators)
- Experience with PICC/Central Line management, blood product administration, and syringe pumps
- Willingness to float to different campuses as needed
- Experience attending high-risk deliveries and neonatal surgical cases
- Familiarity with care of extremely premature neonates (23–24 weeks gestation)
- Comfort working in a large, high-census NICU environment
- Block scheduling is available, allowing you to work three or more consecutive shifts if preferred
- Join a high-acuity NICU team in a large unit with consistent patient volume and a dedicated Admit Nurse structure that supports traveler workflow
