About This Role

The RN SPU Endoscopy position involves providing nursing care to a defined group of patients while adhering to Kaiser Permanente's standards and policies. This role is ideal for nurses who are skilled in patient assessment and care plan implementation.

• Pay: $44 - $81/hour
• Location: Seattle, WA
• Facility: Kaiser Permanente
• Schedule: Full Time, 4 - 10's, Days vary based on department need

• Provide ongoing assessment of nursing care needs using the nursing process.
• Develop written plans of care based on patient needs and priorities.
• Provide nursing interventions safely and competently.
• Communicate with patients and families regarding care and interventions.
• Assess and evaluate care for specific age populations (Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, Geriatric).
• Initiate nursing admission database and discharge planning in collaboration with inpatient staff.
• Identify and address patients' psychosocial, cultural, and emotional needs.
• Develop educational components for nursing care plans and provide teaching/counseling.
• Integrate health promotion and preventive care into ongoing assessments.
• Participate in continued education programs and nursing research.

Education:

• Preferred Endo Certification

Experience:

• Experience in nursing care for diverse patient populations

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current RN License in Washington
