Nurse Practitioner - Neurosurgery in Seattle, WA | Immediate Start
Are you an experienced neurosurgery NP or PA seeking a rewarding locum opportunity with flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and a supportive team environment? This full-time assignment offers a Monday-Friday schedule, with weekend call coverage, at a leading facility in Seattle, WA, starting as soon as the credentialing process is complete.

Locum/Contract - License/Certs:
Active WA or IMLC license; DEA required; BC certification - Experience:
Minimum 3+ years in neurosurgery or critical care preferred; independent practice ability required
- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
- Weekly pay via direct deposit

- Provide inpatient neurosurgical care, including rounding and clinical management
- Manage common neurosurgical conditions like TBI, intracranial hemorrhage, and spine pathology
- Participate in occasional weekend call and beeper coverage, with 12-hour shifts
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, ICU staff, and rehabilitation teams
- Document patient progress accurately and efficiently using established EMR systems
- Contribute to patient safety through independent assessments and escalation as needed
- Support perioperative and postoperative patient care, including managing drains, staples, and sutures
- Active Washington or IMLC license; DEA certification
- Board-certified in family, internal medicine, or surgery with 3+ years in neurosurgery or critical care
- Proven ability to work independently in high-acuity inpatient settings
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and multidisciplinary teamwork experience
- Flexibility to participate in weekend call and after-hours coverage
