About This Role

The RN Hospital Float Pool position involves providing nursing care to a diverse group of patients across various departments, including Med Surg, ED, and Perioperative settings. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who thrive in fast-paced environments and are skilled in critical thinking and collaboration.

• Pay: $44 - $81/hour
• Location: Seattle, WA
• Facility: Kaiser Permanente
• Schedule: Full Time

• Provide ongoing assessment of nursing care needs for a defined group of patients.
• Develop written plans of care based on nursing diagnoses.
• Assist patients and families in developing health care goals.
• Determine priorities of patient care based on essential needs and resources.
• Provide nursing interventions safely and competently.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care.
• Assess needs of patients requiring hospitalization and initiate discharge planning.
• Identify patients' educational needs and develop educational components for care plans.
• Promote patient self-care responsibility and adherence to health regimens.
• Participate in continued education programs and nursing research.

Education:

• Associate's Degree (ADN) required

Experience:

• Experienced level required

• Current RN License in Washington
