RN Hospital Float Pool Nights Q Capitol Hill

About This Role

The RN Hospital Float Pool position involves providing nursing care across various departments, including Emergency Department, Surgical Pre/Post Operative, and Med Surg Telemetry. This role is ideal for nurses with a combination of Med Surg Tele and ED experience or ICU experience, who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Pay: $44 - $81/hour
• Location: Seattle, WA
• Facility: Kaiser Permanente
• Schedule: Full Time, 5-12 hour nights every 2 weeks with rotating weekends and holidays

• Provide nursing care to a defined group of patients.
• Coordinate and facilitate health care services for patients.
• Collaborate with the health care team to implement care plans.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of nursing care needs.
• Develop written plans of care based on patient needs.
• Provide telephone consultations to patient and families.
• Evaluate patient responses to care and modify plans as needed.
• Assess patient lifestyle risk factors and promote self-care.
• Participate in continued education programs and staff orientation.
• Assure quality of care through participation in quality assurance activities.

• RN License in Washington State or Multistate Compact

• Combination of Med Surg Tele and ED experience or ICU experience preferred

• Current RN License in Washington
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification within 6 months from start
