Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Seattle, Washington, 98122!

Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Seattle, WA | Acute Care

Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30)

• Provide direct nursing care in a high-risk, high-volume Labor & Delivery unit serving midwifery clients, private OB patients, and community care populations
• Function in the role of Baby Nurse during delivery, providing continuous newborn care — including eyes, Vitamin K injections (thighs), and newborn assessments — until transfer to postpartum; this is a hard-stop requirement
• Circulate in the OR (hard-stop requirement) — unit operates 4 ORs supporting all types of deliveries
• Administer and monitor high-acuity medications including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
• Float to Postpartum and Antepartum, and may float to sister facilities that provide Mother/Baby care
• Document and monitor using EPIC and perform electronic fetal monitoring; staffing follows AWHONN guidelines

• Active RN license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• High-risk L&D experience required; must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Ability to circulate in the OR and provide newborn care as described above (hard-stop requirements — candidates who do not meet these must not be submitted)
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) and work every other weekend
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are welcome to apply

• ACLS certification
• AWHONN Advanced or AWHONN Intermediate certification
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records and electronic fetal monitoring
• Familiarity with substance recovery support populations in a Labor & Delivery setting

• Join a high-volume unit averaging 500–600 deliveries per month in a 31-bed facility, offering significant clinical exposure across all types of Labor & Delivery cases
• First-time travelers are welcome, and schedules are posted every 6 weeks with pre-approved time-off requests considered on a case-by-case basis
