Job TitleRegistered Nurse – NICU
LocationSeattle, WA | NICU (Level III / Level IV)
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Level III/IV NICU, supporting neonates as early as 23–24 weeks gestation
- Operate and monitor advanced respiratory support equipment including CPAP/BiPAP, High Frequency Ventilators, Oscillators, and conventional Vents
- Administer blood and blood products; manage PICC/Central Lines and syringe pumps
- Attend high-risk deliveries and support neonatal surgical cases
- Perform procedures including Cardioversion/Defibrillation, Cooling/Warming Blanket therapy, and Feeding Tube management
- May be expected to float to sister/satellite campuses; if floated to Pediatrics, assignment will be limited to infant care only
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience required
- Experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU setting
- Must be willing to float to different campuses as needed
- Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays:
Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day - Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted at a modified rate)
- Experience caring for micro-preemies and extremely premature neonates (23–24 weeks gestation)
- Familiarity with high-acuity NICU procedures including attendance at high-risk deliveries and neonatal surgeries
- Comfort working in a large, high-census NICU environment
- Flexibility with block scheduling and consecutive shift arrangements
- Work in a large, high-acuity NICU with an average census of 50 patients, offering consistent clinical exposure and a dynamic care environment
- Block scheduling is supported, allowing travelers to work 3 or more consecutive shifts when preferred
