Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Seattle, Washington, 98122!

Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Seattle, WA | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

• Provide direct nursing care in a high-risk, high-volume Labor & Delivery unit serving a diverse patient population including midwifery clients, private OB patients, and community care patients
• Function in the role of Baby Nurse during delivery and continue newborn care — including eyes, Vitamin K injections (thighs), and newborn assessments — until transfer to postpartum; this is a hard-stop requirement
• Circulate in the OR (hard-stop requirement) across 4 operating rooms
• Administer and monitor high-acuity medications including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
• Utilize EPIC and perform electronic fetal monitoring; staffing follows AWHONN guidelines
• Float to Postpartum and Antepartum, with potential float to sister facilities that support Mother/Baby care

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• High-risk L&D experience required; must be comfortable in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
• Ability to circulate in the OR and perform newborn care including assessments, eye prophylaxis, and Vitamin K administration
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler; local candidates are also welcome to apply

• ACLS certification preferred
• AWHONN Advanced or AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred
• Experience with electronic fetal monitoring and EPIC EMR
• Prior experience in high-volume L&D settings (unit averages 500–600 deliveries/month)

• Work in a dynamic, high-acuity Labor & Delivery environment with a robust census and a broad scope of clinical experience across all types of deliveries
• First-time travelers are welcome, offering an accessible entry point into travel nursing within a well-structured, guideline-driven unit
