Second Internal Medicine Specialist wanted at Timberline Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an Internal Medicine Specialist who wants to expand and grow our Internal Medicine service s role involves participating in hospital rounds, managing a combination of both inpatients and outpatients with complex medical problems, and working collaboratively with our referring veterinarians and the TVES team to provide exceptional veterinary medicine. The ideal candidate would be excited to be involved in the selection of the IM team and help further establish the service within our hospital.
The candidate should love to learn and constantly challenge and change practices based on new evidence. With additional specialty support, we hope to expand our ability to perform clinical trials at our facility, further train and support our VTS aspiring LVTs, and continuously improve on our in‑hospital protocols.
- The compensation for this role is a combination of a base salary $225,000 plus service production.

- Paid time off:
Time off accrues at 0.06 hours per scheduled hour worked, up to 40 hours per week, which is approximately 3.5 weeks of paid time away each year. - $3,000 per year and an additional 4 days of PTO for continuing education. This money and time can be used for seminars, journals, books, or medical equipment and can be carried over for one year.
- Payment for ACVIM, WSVMA, and AVMA dues.
