Job Overview
Puget Sound Veterinary Specialty & Emergency (PSVS) is looking to welcome a second Veterinary Internist to our Specialty and Emergency Hospital on the Olympic Peninsula.
PSVS places a high value on its employees and provides a supportive, culture‑focused environment. We strive for excellence in medicine and patient care. We provide referral and emergency services to much of the Gig Harbor/Tacoma area. Our specialties include Surgery, Neurology, Oncology and Internal Medicine. The fully equipped and staffed ER and ICU will help you to manage all your cases to the highest standard.
Our ideal candidate is collaborative, self‑motivated, enjoys community outreach and is willing to promote and maintain an outstanding hospital culture.
We have daily case rounds each morning to provide an opportunity for continuous learning as well as regular continuing education offerings. The support staff are highly trained and enthusiastic about continuing education as well. This position offers clinicians a unique opportunity to work in a growing, well‑equipped, state‑of‑the‑art facility, side‑by‑side with a group of specialists and ER colleagues. Compensation Range: $200,000 USD - $250,000 USD
