Loyal Family Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned full-service AAHA accredited veterinary hospital in Bellevue, WA. We are seeking a full-time
Veterinary Assistant
to join our growing team.
In this role, you will assist veterinarians and technicians with appointments, provide client education, maintain accurate medical records, take radiographs, and collect and process laboratory samples. You will also share housekeeping responsibilities to help keep our practice clean, organized, and sparkling clean!
Qualifications- Previous veterinary assistant experience is required
- Strong animal-handling and restraint skills; knowledge ofFear Free handling is a plus
- Comfortable working with dogs and cats in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology and procedures
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Reliable, organized, and able to multitask in a busy environment
- Compassionate attitude toward patients, clients, and coworkers
- Our practice is fully paperless, so proficient computer skills are required
We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30am-6pm and Saturday from 9am-4pm and candidates must be able to cover all shifts and have reliable transportation.
