We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to lead our site’s environmental, health, and safety strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on leader who thrives on building a strong safety culture, driving continuous improvement, and partnering with leaders across the business to protect our people, our environment, and our operations. You’ll play a key leadership role in ensuring regulatory compliance while creating programs that make safety a core part of how we work every day.

• Lead the development and execution of the site’s annual Environmental, Health & Safety objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with site leadership to implement new EHS policies, programs, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage environmental permits and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
• Lead and maintain the site’s ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections, and hazard analyses to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver engaging EHS training programs for employees and leadership.
• Facilitate and lead the site’s Safety Committee.
• Lead or support incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Track, analyze, and communicate key EHS performance metrics to site and regional leadership.
• Maintain required documentation, including OSHA logs, training records, inspections, permits, and compliance records.
• Partner closely with Human Resources to manage workers’ compensation cases and support successful return-to-work programs.
• Manage the site’s EHS budget and resources effectively.
• Build strong relationships with regulatory agencies, insurance providers, and external partners.
• Champion a proactive safety culture where every employee is empowered to contribute to a safe and healthy workplace.

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Master’s degree in related discipline and/or professional certifications such as ASP, CSP, CIH, or equivalent a major plus.
• 5 + years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other applicable environmental and safety regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to influence, coach, and build relationships at all levels of an organization.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Availability to primarily work first shift, with flexibility to support additional shifts as business needs require.
