Job Overview

We are seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager at our Seattle manufacturing site. The EHS Manager will provide leadership to the Health & Safety programs at the plant, ensuring compliance with corporate and provincial legislation, developing and maintaining ISO systems, fostering an autonomous H&S culture, promoting health and wellness programs, defining H&S standard operating procedures, providing training, and developing risk identification and reduction awareness and methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to the Health & Safety programs at the plant.
  • Ensure compliance with corporative and provincial legislative requirements.
  • Develop and maintain ISO systems.
  • Foster an autonomous H&S culture and promote a defined health and wellness strategy.
  • Define and implement H&S standard operating procedures.
  • Provide H&S training and development.
  • Develop risk identification and reduction awareness and methods.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & safety, Industrial Relations, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Health & Safety Manager.
  • Strong safety leadership and commitment to regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in a U.S. union manufacturing environment, strongly preferred.
