Our client is a full-service surface finishing company specializing in the commercial aerospace, defense, space, and satellite industries.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform and document in-process, first article, receiving, and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes.
- Read and interpret information from planning documents, tool designs, blueprints, specifications, and quality inspection procedures to create clear, complete, and precise records of inspections.
- Calibrate inspection tools and equipment prior to use.
- Interface with personnel from various departments regarding quality-related issues.
- Provide assistance to operators in understanding and interpreting quality specifications and procedures.
- Initiate and prepare nonconformance reports to be provided to quality assurance administrators.
- Conduct internal audits as required.
- Suggest new and improved methods for the continuous improvement of the quality management system.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in inspection.
- Familiarity with precision tools.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
- Experience in production or manufacturing is preferred.
