The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to support our Multiphysics and Test Team located in Seattle, WA
. This position will focus on supporting the Applied Physics Applications Laboratory within the Multiphysics and Test Team. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid‑Level and Senior Laboratory Technician.

• Support the Advanced Physics Applications Laboratory comprising a broad range of electrical and mechanical systems machining and prototyping, test and evaluation equipment, machine shops and associated lab safety protocols to support the work statement of the Advanced Physics Group and its customers.
• Work closely with engineering functions to understand, conceptualize, design, machine, and implement/maintain experimental prototypes and test equipment, and associated capabilities for support and execution of the group’s work statement.
• Engage daily with the engineering team regarding all aspects of laboratory operations including daily planning, coordination and execution.
• Purchase day‑to‑day essentials for running the lab, maintain safe and efficient lab practices such as 5S and lab cleanliness, ensure laboratory compliance requirements, and focus on laboratory safety in alignment with Boeing policies.

• Associate’s degree or higher, or equivalent combination of certifications and demonstrated experience.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical systems, test equipment, and maintenance practices and requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with electrical boxes, debugging and bring‑up in a lab environment, gathering data for technical performance measures and performing basic analysis.

• Experience evaluating parts, materials, processes, technology or equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements.
• Experience working in a machine shop, prototyping, and dynamic environment.
• Experience working in an R&D prototyping environment.
• Experience working with multifunctional team.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams in this multi‑disciplinary environment.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary Pay Range – Mid‑Level: $68,850 – $93,150;
Senior: $86,700 – $117,300. Boeing also provides a comprehensive Total Rewards package, including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, and paid and unpaid time away from work. Eligibility may vary based on location, hire date and collective bargaining agreements.

This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62 includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Associate's Degree or Equivalent Required

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start is required.
