Bentall Green Oak , a leading North American private real estate investment advisor, is looking for a strong candidate to join our Asset Management team as an Associate in our Seattle, WA office.

This position will provide analytical support to the asset management team for operations, dispositions, acquisitions, and due diligence of commercial real estate investments.

Position Responsibilities:

· Utilize MRI for evaluating accuracy of financial statements and pulling reports as required.  
· Create and/or modify existing ARGUS files. Complete understanding of modeling standards, impact of changes to models and ability to communicate effectively the results of the analysis.  
· Ability to calculate termination/amortization payments and quickly retrieve key statistics (asset’s current Yield, Leased %, Market Value, etc.).  
· Work with Asset Manager on the valuation process.  
· Analyze and critically assess leasing proposals to assist Asset Manager in efficiently evaluating deals.  
· Work with Asset Manager during the budget/business plan cycle to review and complete the final budget and business plan for each asset within the portfolio.  
· Assist with the acquisition efforts including property inspections, review of existing leases, revenue and operating expenses, and other due diligence materials.  
· Work with Asset Manager on the monthly and quarterly client reports  
· Work with Asset Manager to ensure accuracy of draws and funding requests on development and renovation projects.  
· Work with internal team and property management teams on RPI initiatives such as LEED and Energy Star.  
· Special and ad hoc projects, as assigned

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or similar field  
· Three to five years prior commercial real estate work experience, preferably in the Office sector
