Internship Overview

Ai2 is recruiting early‑career researchers for full‑time research internships year‑round. The internship is a 12‑week program based in Seattle and requires on‑site presence. Candidates may be doctoral, master, or undergraduate students with a strong research background.

Undergraduate: $94,320 Annually

Master’s: $106,110 Annually

PhD: $140,000 Annually

• Read and synthesize scientific literature to investigate AI research topics.
• Execute research projects under mentor guidance, including building AI systems, developing datasets, and conducting experiments.
• Meet regularly with mentor to review progress and discuss ideas.

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field with research experience in computer vision, robotics, machine learning, natural language processing, or related areas.
• Strong interest in cutting‑edge artificial intelligence research.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods.
• Strong communication skills; able to convey ideas clearly.
• Able to observe details at close range.
