Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Research Scientist/Senior Research Scientist to join our lab team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and executing assays.
- Develop assays related to antibody discovery.
- Execute laboratory workflows efficiently.
- Author documents and Electronic Lab Notebook entries.
- Create Standard Operating Procedures and other laboratory documentation.
- Present results and key findings at project and group meetings.
- Proficiency in assay development and antibody discovery.
- Experience with lab automation, Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), and Biolayer Interferometry (BLI).
- Knowledge of ELISA, HEK
293, CHO, DSF/SLS/DLS, CE-SDS, transfection, and purification. - Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
- 3-10 years of industry experience in antibody discovery or antibody R&D.
- Experience with antibodies or recombinant proteins and protein-binding methods.
- Experience with mammalian cell culture.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with automation.
- Familiarity with develop ability or functional assays for antibody drug development.
Flexible work schedule from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends. Ideal for individuals passionate about supporting scientific research with a talent for organization and operations management.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and BenefitsPay Range: $65.00 - $67.50/hr.
