Biology Specialist (Masters/PhDs) - AI Training About The Role

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just serious expertise in your field and a sharp eye for scientific quality.

- Develop, solve, and critically review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance
- Apply your expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related disciplines to design and evaluate complex problem statements
- Assess AI-generated scientific content for accuracy, rigor, depth, and clarity
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to improve model reasoning
- Ensure every deliverable meets high standards of scientific integrity and communicative precision
- Holds a Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field — Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, or similar
- Deep expertise in at least one of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics
- Comfortable working with Python or R for research or data-related tasks
- Exceptional written communicator — you can explain complex science clearly and precisely
- Detail‑oriented and self‑motivated when working independently
- Fluent in English
- Prior experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
- Familiarity with computational biology or bioinformatics pipelines
- Background in academic research, peer review, or scientific publishing
- Experience designing or grading advanced coursework or examinations
- Work on cutting‑edge AI projects alongside leading research labs and AI teams
- Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
- Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, intellectually stimulating work
- Make a direct, tangible impact on how AI understands and communicates science
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
