The Bloom lab is hiring a Post Doctoral Research Fellow to use sequencing-based neutralization assays to study the antigenic evolution of influenza B, as well as immune imprinting against influenza A and
B. The postdoc will be expected to lead independent experimental studies, perform computational data analysis, and present and summarize the results of the research.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- PhD in Molecular Microbiology & Immunology, or related degree
- Prior experience in experimental work with influenza B virus
- At least two first-author papers or preprints related to the study of influenza B
- Prior experience performing phylogenetic analyses using the Nextstrain package, as evidenced by a Git Hub account with contributions to relevant repositories.
The annual base salary range for this position is from $80,172 to $95,014, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
