Position Summary

The Clinical Research Assistant supports Clinical Research Coordinators and investigators in the day-to-day execution of clinical trials. The role involves coordinating study activities, preparing study materials, maintaining accurate records, supporting participant visits, and ensuring adherence to research protocols and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Clinical Research Coordinators with the conduct of multiple clinical trials.
  • Schedule study visits and participant appointments.
  • Prepare examination rooms and study materials for research visits.
  • Organize and prepare laboratory kits and research supplies.
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain study records.
  • Assist with protocol-related procedures under supervision.
  • Ensure compliance with study protocols and research documentation requirements.
  • Support study teams with general research operations and administrative tasks

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Biology, Public Health, Health Sciences, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience or coursework related to clinical research.
  • Familiarity with neuropsychiatric disorders and depression treatments.
  • Phlebotomy training or experience.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles
