University of Washington invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar in Salt Marsh Geomorphic Modeling. Work with Dr. Kendall Valentine to develop idealized ecogeomorphic marsh models for the Pacific Northwest, using Matlab and field data collection.
The appointment is full-time for 12 months, with renewal possible up to 2 years depending on funding and performance. The role includes model development, fieldwork such as sediment coring and elevation surveys, and manuscript writing.
