Position: FOOD UNIT LEAD (MICROMARKET) (FULL TIME)

Job Summary

Coordinates activities of other food‑service employees. Creates an enjoyable dining experience for customers, staff and visitors.

Location and Schedule

Location:

Anduril 1201 2nd Avenue, Floor 28 & 29, Seattle, WA 98101.

Schedule:

Full Time;
Monday thru Friday, day shifts. Hours may vary, more details in interview.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience in managing micromarkets and/or eateries.
  • Order management; stocking micromarket and pantry inventory.
  • Networking; engaging customer & client service, hospitality focus.
  • IT; ability to troubleshoot common issues with devices on local network.
  • Food safety; food handler's certification preferred. Proper dating and stocking of product.
  • Administrative: data entry & bookkeeping, product signage.
Pay Range

$28.00 per hour to $30.00 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides quality customer service with one‑on‑one attention to detail.
  • Oversees and participates in the preparation and service of food and beverage items according to company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety, and portion control.
  • Helps plan menus.
  • Ensures timely, efficient meal service; supervises serving of meals.
  • Responds to customer complaints in person and via email.
  • Trains employees; assigns and coordinates work to promote efficiency and excellence.
  • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
  • Uses proper systems for completing required daily/weekly/monthly reports such as inventory‑cash reports, production records, payroll and time‑keeping.
  • Responsible for proper cash handling as established by the Food Accounting Manual (deposits, petty cash, change funds).
  • Orders food and other supplies from approved sources or purveyors.
  • Directs and participates in overall sanitation and safety of the facility and employees.
  • Develops sanitation schedule and ensures food‑service employees adhere to it for cleaning of kitchen, dining area and washing utensils and equipment.
  • Issues written and oral instructions.
  • Helps select and orient employees; oversees staff training in areas of responsibility.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
