Cashier; Sat​/Sun

We’re excited to share that our beloved family‑owned café, bakery, and restaurant is doing well in our beautiful, newly constructed Capitol Hill location. Now over 2 years strong, we’ve built an experienced team and a loyal community. We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic cashier to join our team. If you're legally able to work in the US and are over 18, we want you to be a part of our restaurant.

This we are specifically looking for Saturday and Sunday and we may have other hours available in the future and also cover work for when people are out other days.

• Tue‑Wed: 8:30‑2:30pm.
• Thur‑Sun: 8:30‑6:00pm.

We'd be assigning you hours somewhere in that range.

• Unfortunately, we can't sponsor work visas.
• The interview will be in person.
• If you are great with people you have a high chance of getting this job.
• Barista experience is a plus. (Otherwise will be trained).
• Food service experience is a plus.
• Cashier experience is a plus.
• A food handler's permit is required but you could still send us your resume and get your permit online after (we'll refund).
• Must be able to show up on time and be reliable. Some of the time you’ll be the only one able to fulfill the role. Predictably is very important.

Also, we should mention that this is a tipped role and we are very busy at the moment. Tips are averaging about $5‑$10 an hour at the moment although higher on the weekend.
