Location:We are seeking an Experienced Barista at Colman Dock, Seattle, WA (98104) Summary
The Barista provides exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high‑quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages. This role maintains a clean, welcoming environment and supports daily café operations to ensure great guest experience.
Key Responsibilities Customer Service- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections.
- Provide friendly, accurate, and efficient service at the register and beverage counter.
- Answer questions about ingredients, dietary options, and promotions.
- Prepare espresso drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and blended beverages according to recipes and quality standards.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other café equipment safely.
- Prepare and serve pastries or light food items as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and dining space.
- Restock supplies include cups, lids, coffee beans, syrups, and condiments.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Process orders and payments accurately using POS systems.
- Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments responsibly.
- Collaborate with team members to manage busy periods efficiently.
- Communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and great service.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Basic math and cash‑handling skills.
- Previous barista or customer‑facing experience. At least 2 years of experience
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso preparation.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. (e.g., boxes of supplies, bags of coffee beans).
- Regular bending, reaching, and moving throughout the workspace.
- Shift-based schedule, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays.
- Fast-paced café setting with frequent customer interaction.

Shifts occur between the hours of 5am and 9pm, 7 days a week
